That's what the whole game is about, entertainment value, although they do play serious in the last.

Well, more serious.

OKC still my tip for the ring this year. A fit westbrook durrant and Ibaka and they can take anyone down.

Always thought my boys are a chance, they have been a bit hit and miss but i think after the break they can go on a roll 10-15 game winning streak.

They can get to the finals from 8th. Probably one of the only teams that can.

Jay

I can't pick any team in the west to win the title. It all comes down to matchups. Could realistically see a scenario where the top 4 seeds all lose in round 1 ;) I know that's unlikely but it's the only year I can remember where it's actually possible...

I'm sticking with Chicago. Expect them to come out firing after the break as they start to get healthy.

Jay

Amare bought out by the Knicks.

I think he can have an impact on a playoff team so will be interesting to see where he lands. A return to Phoenix would be fun!

He is a liability on the defensive end though.

Not saying he's a great player but an above average role player? Yeah, sure.

And someone like that could give someone an edge in a playoff series considering how equal the talent levels are this season.

Sure Jayman - he would be good for a playoff team if he came off the bench. I can't see him improving a West team by starting.

Edit: I should put it out there that I have always thought he is over-rated and should never have come close to a max deal...... EVER!!!!

Yeah I'm talking like 15 minutes a game for a contender. Perhaps if the Mavs gave the Villanueva minutes to Stat? That's definitely an upgrade!

He was awesome in PHX but a max deal was going to be tough to live up to.

RiOtChEsS

Amare will clear waivers then sign with a team of his choice, a contender is what the rumblings are echoing

Jay

Celtics are going after Ty Lawson.

I like it if it's a buy-low type move. Don't want to give up a lot just to scrape into the playoffs though...

that's why the Suns didn't give him the max - as valk wrote he wasn't/isn't a max player.
playing with Nash and doing their pick-n-roll thing just made him look awesome ...   ;)

PHX don't need anymore liabilities on defense thanks!   ;)

I was thinking he'd fit in with GSW doing pick'n'roll with the splash bros but again he'd muck up their defensive chemistry in all likelihood ... Cavs same thing, wouldn't fit in Chi-town ... maybe Houston??   :-\
