been tossing up all week. Unfortunately don't have the cash cash to get both martin and rocklike however this presents a difficult decision in my mind.

option one:
pros- rockliff is an absolute gun and still annoyed that i dont have him. plays at the gabba this week where he usually scores well. Last few weeks have shown he can break a tag. mcgovern is a decent cash cow.

cons- rockliff has freo next week and the crowley tag awaits. should i hold off? mcgovern im not that sold on.

option two:
pros- stevie is a gun in bad form but has a good run coming up. s martin is cheap and i have thurlow in the rucks so he can cover forward and rucks.

cons- stevie can be tagged out of games.

My exact two trades are your latter ones this week - well currently ATM.

Mainly for the fact of the Martin and Thurlow connection - If Dockers are going strong towards the end of the year, Sandilands will get rested (for Griffen to get some AFL match time) and to let his body heal! Which will most likely be DT Finals time - having said that Leunburger should be back by then, however if Martin is dominating between now and then, it will be hard for Brisbane to leave him out of their 22!

McGovern will be gone as soon as Kennedy is back.

McGovern (bench player) and Rocky (DT Gun) vs Martin (Possibly reliable F6) and Stevie J (DT Gun) - pretty much answers itself IMO.

Just my opinion though :)

Kennedy is back and McGovern is still named

So he is! My bad, I still wouldnt touch him with a 10ft pole. He will be lucky to play another couple of weeks.. Eagles failed early this year with too many tall forwards and ended up dropping everyone they tried besides Kennedy, Darling and the resting ruckmen.

Wouldnt be surprised if Kennedy is a late withdrawal though, surely Simpson cant be stupid to play that many talls! I thought he would of learnt his lesson.

I believe he'll continue to get games maybe not every week I grabbed him back when he played v Carlton and have had him sitting at F8 since then.
Also he is named in backline which he has been playing in the WAFL but he can swing forward as well.

Putting all that and Glass's retirement today consideration, his JS could be better then I expect.

But IMO I still wouldnt touch him, I would back Martin and Stevie J to score more then McGovern and Rockliff more often then not.

What about Barlow and Martin or do you already have Barlow?
