News reports here this morning (only radio and tv so no link) that Bomber has expressed a desire to remain at Essendon indicating strongly that Hird will be sacked today. Hird did not attend Crighton medal either.

Not yet. Had a meeting with the board this morning. Has told them he will appeal, against their wishes.
They'll decide whether he has a job or not from that meeting
