Cheers for that DB. Last figure i heard was Essendon's costs are up around 8 million, whatever happens that debt will hurt.

Wow and Hird has chosen to appeal. Fair to say that says a lot about the Essendon/Hird relationship... and whether Hird will be there next year I guess

If I was a player I would be seeking deals similar to what Sharks players did in the NRL.  World doping body has chosen not to appeal the lightness and back dating of the suspensions so a precedent now been set.

Difference is the Sharks doping occurred for a couple of weeks, the Dons were doing it for a year

Yeh I'm guessing the McKenna sacking (linking Bomber to GC) also had something to do with bringing this forward
