I had thought the names of the players under investigation had previously been released? Or was it just heresay in the media/forums?

I also remember a list posted on here about 12 months ago but if the show cause notices were sent out in September/October then the list could look very different.

I also remember hearing on the radio that basically a show cause notice with ASADA is pretty much guilty until proven innocent which is why if the AFL goes against their findings they should just split from the WADA code like the NFL and NBA have

I FEEL SICK

Why, if they get done, then they can back date the suspension. They can't back date it if they play nab cup.

Most people seem to think they'll cop a backdated 6 month ban. That means they'll miss rounds 1-6 too, since the infraction notices were issued on Nov 14.

Probably wouldn't have beaten Haw, Syd or Freo anyway but losing the opportunity to beat STK, Coll and Carl pretty much writes off the season.

The Cronulla players received their backdated bans based on when they received show cause notices. Not infraction notices. The show cause notices went to the players on 17/10/2014. Ban should be based on the Cronulla precedent which Is to back date to the date of the show cause.

The club will then argue it should be backdated to the day they first received the show cause notices. This was June 12 2014.
The Cronulla players admitted they were guilty when the infraction notices were issued
If this is the case thank the footy God for the cricket World Cup
