Ziplock

yeah, it's not what they were actually charged with

AFEV

Remember AOD is still not technically legal. It's a grey area, and ASADA aren't pursuing it, but they never came out and said 'nah that's cool'. To my knowledge.

I hope that just this once Dank isn't an arse, I hope...

Amen to that mate.

I'm pretty sure they got green lit to use AOD, hence why they're not being charged with it.

That's what their claim has been all along, but as far as the rules stipulate it's not legal. So I would have thought burden of proof was on the bombers to prove they did get the ok to use it, which they've struggled to do. That in itself makes me think ASADA think they have a pretty good case on Thymosin, as (conjecture ahead) I think the reason they're not persuing AOD is because they're confident of nailing them on Thymosin anyway. At the end of the day if the players cop a ban, it doesn't really matter to ASADA whether it's for Thymosin or for AOD, they're still banned.

But they did provide the letter, I watched an AFL 360 episode on it last year. The problem was ASADA's wording was very vague, by telling essendon it wasn't banned under section 1 and not stipulating it was classed under 0. Whether it was deliberate way of saying its okay for you guys or a general cockup.

A very very good read

Indeed. Thanks for that Rico. And, all things considered, it passes the BS test for me. I think Little has got a job and a half on his hands but seems like a good bloke to be doing it.

Dudge

It does sound like he's been backed into a corner, with 17 angry bikies baying for blood. I understand his position in all this, because if it wasn't Little, lest be honest it would be someone else with a different name. I'm by no means agreeing with his rational, but really, what else to we expect him to say

Ringo

Not unexpected with so much evidence and legal argument to be heard and Christmas in the middle.

By the time bans are handed out Dustin Fletcher will be the only one left playing.
