Yeh its crazy mate. Hirds all about saving his name i feel, i doubt there is alot of concern regarding the players. Obviously if he clears his name then that goes along way for the players but the players aren't his motivation i dont think.
Bomber will be the coach in 2015 this looks more and more likely by the day. Pretty much stated he wanted the job at their B&F last night.

I wonder what would happen if he were to win, and clear his name (and indirectly the club and players). Ultimately, James knows better than anyone else what the hell went on. He knows whether or not there was any coercion, back-room deals, cover-ups etc. Not saying there were. However, we live in a society where we have a legal system in place to help people uncover the truth. If someone is truly innocent, succumbing to external pressures (AFL, media, club?) to help move on, just because its "more convenient", goes against everything you learn growing up about fighting for what's fair.

As a Bomber's supporter, yes, of course I want this all to end already! Had e-flowering-nough of Carro and her shower. But even moreso, I want to know the truth to it all.

The media are convinced James is the one to blame for everything. Sure, there was the terrible governance, but let's not forget he did cop a 12 month whack. Rightly so. But what else has he actually done? Hopefully the court case clears this up. And gets his side of the story out there, because god knows The Age (as much as its my preferred paper) won't publish anything that's not tarnishing about him.

Should he be the coach in the meantime? Perhaps there is a conflict of interest whilst he's at court, and he should be focussing his energy elsewhere. However, we're in an offseason break right now, so it's not like the process is occurring during the season.

Bomber for 2015? Why has everybody suddenly forgot that he was working very closely with James at the time, and even brought the Weapon across?

Interesting times, indeed.



TL;DR: the media have certainly chosen their side. Is there much more to it all? I'm sure the has to be. James has every right to take any legal path he chooses.

Agree seems to be James Hird is the only thing on his mind can't recall him coming out and and saying how sorry he was to the players and there love ones for mass injections he had them put through , single handedly destroying the EFC has set them back for years
