South Springvale is the first local Victorian team to qualify.

Would love to see my boys at the FNQ heat progress.

The Victorian NPL league is pretty strong these days. I can definitely see an A-League side lose to a regional one, however no one will push the A-League teams consistently.

I'll be supporting South Hobart from Tassie. Made the final of some national cup comp last year and should do alright in this :)

We are not England. This is an absolute joke of a tournament

Pretty silly that nearly half of the teams in the A League are playing each other first round. There should be some type of seeding to avoid that in the future (keep in mind that I don't actually know much about the format etc).

I'm personally looking forward to it. Should be interesting, although I can see it becoming a bit of a Carling Cup.

There is actually seeding involved with the intent to have the A League clubs playing each other in the first round so that the others can progress a little bit

Who should I go for in the Final when Brisbane Roar play the FNQ Heat?

Hmm, seems a bit strange to me, but I suppose to raise interest they need some big games first up.

Think the FFA Cup needs a more even split in each State's representation... SA only has one non-A-League team and NSW have something like 10

Also, FoxSports should televise all the games, its a great concept!
