First day of the county season, and Gary Ballance is back 8) Hopefully a repeat of his 2013 season is in store.

Ben Coad bowled well to take 5fer in his 2nd ever County match as well, off only 8 overs!

And 3rd match now and he brings up his 2nd century of the season! This one arguably better as Lyth, Root, Handscomb and Bairstow could only manage single figure scores.

That 2013 form is returning boyssss :D :D :D

just getting all his runs out the way before the Ashes. beautiful  :P

You may say that, of maybe he's building to something special. Just scored another ton in the 2nd innings :) Meanwhile Joe Root and Adam Lyth from 4 innings have 24 runs combined. Handscomb and Bairstow got 8 between them in the first innings, Handscomb on 33 this innings. No else is scoring runs and he has two 100s this match!

With the way Pattinson has been batting, I think he knows that his way into the test side is if he can bat at 7.

Pattinson, Cummins, Starc at 7,8,9 is quite strong when you look at them as a collective.

Pattinson and Cummins definitely showing enough to say they can bat at 7 and 8 in the test side so yes I would go the 4 gun quicks and Lyon.

that bowling line up would be scary good. have wanted it for a few years now. think the selectors want that front line spinning option though

not knocking Lyno at all. but think Smiddy and Warner could do the part time spinner job if and when we needed it
