Cook, Lyth, Bell, Root, Stokes, Ali, Buttler, Rashid, Wood, Broad, Anderson could well be England's first test line-up. Not sure what to think about that.
Needs more KP.
And Tim Bresnan.

He's played 23 tests and England have only lost one of those.
Bresssss!!! Yeah but I think between Stokes, Ali, rashid the batting is deeps enough :P

One of the great batsman of the modern day era retires, and no one bats an eye. Best player to ever come out of Sri lanka by a long way, makes Jayawardene look like Chris Martin imo. One of the few sub-continent players who have proven themselves everywhere in the world. His stats since he gave up the gloves have been historically good - an average of 68.56 over 84 matches to be exact.

Congrats on a fantastic career, Sangakkara. :)

QuoteAnderson was wicketkeeping when he got in an argument with the batsman O’Brien between overs.

The two were then involved in a scuffle that saw O’Brien swing his bat in Anderson’s direction before they wrestled each other to the ground. Anderson then tried to kick O’Brien in the head, though it looks like he ended up striking his own teammate Aaron Adams who was trying to separate the pair.

Quote“Cleveland County Cricket Club would like to announce that as a result of the incident at the recent Champion of Champions final, Mr Jason Anderson is hereby banned from representing the club in all sporting activities for life,” president Smith said.

So Cummins re-injured (I think) his back and is gonna be out for a while. Faulkner's replaced him in the squad to tour Bangladesh.

Most players get the jitters when they reach 40s, or 90s, or when the game is close. Ian Bell gets the jitters at 1.

Alastair Cook has 10 career sixes in tests. I think you will find Don Bradman had 5. #justsaying
