Hey ya'll... need some wise help! Looking to trade out Jobe for one or the other... BUT, looking towards Rd13, i will do my final defensive upgrade. So... my big question is, if i go Jack(possibly Boyd) i will have the cash following week for K Simpson - if i go with Pendles i'll only be able to afford say Hibberd/B Smith.

My current team is: Defense...  Swallow, McVeigh, Burgoyne, Walker, Hanley, Schoenmakers(Bews, Clurey)
Mids...      Ablett, Beams, Selwood, Rockliff, Ward, Dal Santo, SJ, Watson(O'brien, Acres)

Jack is very consistent, Pendles has a higher ceiling but both are averaging roughly the same over last 5 rounds. Sydney have a kindish draw to finish the season as well...

Jack + Simpson
Pendles + Hibberd

Cheers  ;)

Pendles (130) + Hibberd (95) = 225

Jack (110) + Simpson (105) = 215

Pendles and Hibberd for me

Leaning towards Jack and Simpson purely because Simpson is tearing it up right now and has a higher ceiling than Hibbs. But i agree with your maths Lions  ;) Also, you think Jacky can push to an average of say 115-120 from here on? I'd settle for that  8)

Probably 115 at most, but I'm not sure he can maintain this average all year when the Swans have JPK, hanners, McVeigh, Parker, Buddy, Tippett, etc.

Pendles also provides another captain option which can potentially give you extra points every now and then too

Jack and Simmo IMO

Jack is an outright gun, there is no stopping him, even with JPK,Hanners,McVeigh,Malceski,Parker, ripping it up. he is a jet, and he has been for a while now, i believe he will average 115-120 from here on in.

Simmo is tearing it up, he has a big ceiling, where he can go that 140+ sure, evey now and then he will give you 80-90. but the way he is scoring, it even provides another captain loophole option every now and then with a 140 or so.

those 2 combined will score better from here on in then pendles and hibberd in my opinion

Love your input lads! Agree about Pendles being another captain option but feel i have enough of that base covered. I also believe Jack is a serious gun and dont think the rest of the Swans engine room affect his scoring potential tooo much. Great POD as well!! Think im coming to a conclusion...  8)

JBs-Hawks

All I know is if i am coming up against a team that doesnt have pendles, im feeling pretty good.

Mailman the 2nd

Pendlebury is will score more over Jack than Simpson will over Hibberd

Holz

Hibberd is still a premo defender, sure simpson is better however if your missing out on pendles to get him you just cant do that. Pendles and Ablett are guys you need in your team and should have them the whole season.

You can find quite a few mids to match jack, but only ablett comes close to pendles.

Pendles and Hibberd for me

Pendles is a must. More of a must than Simpson

As mentioned before you either have Pendles or play against him each week.  Anything else is superlative.   ;)

Add one to the Pendles+Hibberd group

Would have to agree that i wouldnt wish to face Pendles either if i didnt own him... but is there any chance of Jack averaging the same as him from here on(or close to it)? Simpson is definitely going to take down Hibberd in terms of scoring potential  ::)
