I'm just going by the opening post...

It was meant to be you Jay, I think.

If you weren't taking Ewing, doesn't really I matter I suppose.

Jay

Due to already having scoring firepower in Kareem, Chuck and the Big O... I'm going to lock up some elite defense:

Scottie Pippen - 1994-95

Stats: 21.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 2.9 steals, 1.1 blocks
Achievements: All-NBA First Team, All Defensive First Team, Steals leader

This season was truly elite for Scottie with only Hakeem having ever put up similar defensive numbers in a single season.

PG: Oscar Robertson
SG:
SF: Scottie Pippen
PF: Charles Barkley
C: Kareem Abduul-Jabbar

Jay

Marcz has already picked, so that means Sid is up!  :D

i wait to be called upon in future  :-[

The 2 guys I really wanted going in the last 3 picks. It burns.
I still need a forward, another unconventional pick and I'm not super comfortable with it but Chris Webber 00-01.

Master Q

North Melbournes Finest

John Stockton 89/90 - 17 points and 15 apg along with 3 steals.

He continues my amazing passing team, he played solid defense and can score as well. Chose him as he was the best player available, he also shot 42% from 3 on the year, which adds to floor spacing. Most importantly I found a guy who can hit my hall of famers in their favourite spots.

Point Guard - John Stockton
Shooting Guard - Jerry West
Small forward - Larry Bird
Power forward - Tim Duncan
Center        -

Got a clear plan here.

Russell is the best defender of all time and Hakeem is arguably number 2. Now to be impossible to score on ill pick up someone on the outside who can defend.

The only point guard ever to win a DPOY

Gary Payton 95/96 DPOY 4.2 RPG 7.5 APG 2.9 SPG 19.3 PPG

the glove will stick to anyone dangerous on the outside, which will be really helpful with the twin towers in the paint. He is a pretty decent scorer and distributor amongst the elite PGs and should fit in well with big scorers in durrant and my next pick.

Holz

with Payton Hakeem and Russell my defence is stacked. Need some scoring to go with Durrant and this combo would just be scary.

George Gervin 79/80 5.2 RPG 2.6 APG and 33.1 PPG on 52.8%

just an amazing scorer, who not only puts up massive points but does it very effeciently. Paired up with Durrant both guys shooting above 50% and 32+ points will make it hard to work out where the attack is coming from.

Pretty sick team Holz

thanks for that  thought "defence wins championships" and "no rebound no rings".

Adding in Gervin and Durrant on offesne doesnt hurt either.

pretty worried about your team, 2 guys i think could make your team deadly so will be interesting to see if you get one of them.
