I know this an out there proposition but every year I get screwed with injuries and no trades come finals.I just saw Ryan Bastinac and yes I know he isnt a gun or a premo scorer but if you can pick up someone like him him who has shown he can pump out big scores but has shown poor form at the start of this year for around $290k is it a good idea to have him sitting on the bench if you need to play him?

You may as well get Kane Mitchell if spending that sort of money

A lot of money for a bench player, it's a little early to be freaking out just yet as there are still some good rookies out there - Lennon should be great bench cover, rucks dicey but if Derrickx can keep getting games then he's doing ok, still a few mids to come out of the woodwork yet... not quite that desperate yet

Keep your trades, and trade for players in the finals. Rolling lock out gives you flexibility, and no guarantee the player you trade in won't get injured

I'm picking up mitchell as M9, for bench cover or cash cow.  should privide both, but will assess waht to do with him on his next few weeks and where his price goes,a nd how he is scoring.

Re Bastinac, yes becoming cheaper after being the sub.  May become bargain basement price, but i would wait until he plays a full game and/or gets 100 plus score and has low B/E and is not the sub.  Good idea thinking of finals bench cover.  We all know the general soreness will come into play later in the season, and with 8 premium mids, i would think there is a good chance of at least being rested or injured every week at that time of year.  You really do need 8 quality mids, and also quality bench cover.
