Which combo?

Am tossing up both these options for my squad at the moment, would be keen to see what the majority of you guys would opt for.
My current Defence is McVeigh, Simpson, Swallow, Hibberd, Bartel, Langdon (Langford, Tippett)
My current Forward line is Dangerfield, Parker, Martin, Higgins, Cameron, Lennon (Lloyd, Honeychurch)

Will be trading out Langdon and Polec (will swing Honeychurch in midfield)

I am leaning towards option 2, but am thinking with Freos soft draw, Johnson could post some nice scores and Buddy, well he could do anything to be honest.

Thoughts?

Tbh I don't really like either f those options. Johnson has been really good so far, but I'd stay away from Freo defenders, as who knows what Ross will do with them. Hanley has the potential to average just as much as Johnson, if not more, and is cheap, but is definitely a risk. Wingard I can't see scoring as well as he did last year, as a lot of his scores were inflated due to match winning goals and all that (Port won't have as many close games this year, therefore lower chance of that happening). And then there's Buddy who could potentially average around the 100 mark, but I just can't really see that happening.

If you get one of Hanley/Jaensch/Hurn, how much cash do you have for a premium forward?

Another option I am considering is trading Lloyd to shenton & polec to gray.
With this option I can loophole Langdon & Langford via Tippett and I can also loophole Cameron & Lennon via honeychurch.

Yeah, bringing in Shenton wouldn't be a bad idea I reckon. And Gray has been great this year, a much better option than Buddy or Wingard.

I want to bump this poll.
I am leaning towards option 3.
My midfield is complete, ruck is complete, defence I need 1 more and in forward line if I go with option 3 I need to upgrade 1 more and sideways Higgins when time is right.
A lot of love for option 2 though, I am just uncertain with both guys, looked good at start of the week, now having second thoughts. Hanley with his injury riddled body and Wingard not scoring high enough for his output.
Option 1 was more of a POD view I had on my side.

Higgins will come on the chopping block if Lloyd is named, if not named I think Lloyd has done his dash, could come back later in the season.
With $40k in my kitty I cant get whoever I want with Polec and Higgo, Polec becomes Gray and then I have $370k left. Ratehr give Higgins another week and offload Lloyd in this case, pick up Shenton.
