Langdon scored before Fas came in, then Fas scored well, Langdon spudded it a little. Fas injured, Langdon scored well again. Fas was back last week, but neither scored well.

Logic would imply that Fas should start scoring well again, but does anyone have an alternate view?

Jackross10

I think it will be Fas 80s and Langdon 70s. I'm just curious to see what Bucks does with Seedsy

Rusty00

I didn't see the whole game last week but Fasolo finished the game up forward. I assumed with Brown and Frost injured early that Langdon had to play on one of the Eagles big forwards or was that not the case?

makita

Didn't watch the game but what was Marley Williams role? Anything off half back?

Looking at FF description it looks like he played in the back six. Had about the same amount of DT points to Langdon and Falaso, so he wasn't prolific.

AlexIsOnFire

I have both and are willing to give them one more week, if it's another mediocre score then both on the trade table.

juzztheball

Someone has to go for buddy this week. Bye bye Fas.

Spite

Did no one watch the game? Lol 😜

So goldsack and maxwell took JJK and darling, until the resting ruck went forward and maxwell took him and Langdon would shift to darling. Marley was the one with the freedom in the backline this week. Fasolo wasn't getting the job done so they moved him forward.
In all honestly, I believe Langdon will be given the licence to roam this week and all weeks until seedsman is back. Seedsman did get injured in the vfl which was a set back for him and Sinclair is out now for two months. Langdons JS became extraordinary in one weekend of vfl footy.
I think fasolo will be used half up front to help out our struggling forward line and half lockdown defender and may be switche with Jamie Elliot who is getting a run through the backline. When Elliot goes back, he is the one who is free and Langdon shifts to lockdown.
I have traded Langdon to bartel but I see little reason to not hold him this week and see how he goes, I may reverse my trade.

Agree with what Spite said.

Fas looked like a fish out of water down back last week. Copped an almighty spray from Maxwell. Bucks ended up moving Fas up forward.

IMO Fas looked better up forward, and in a dysfunctional Collingwood forward line, so IMO he will stay forward in the near future

This would mean that Langdon will revert to being a loose across half-back which should improve his scoring.

I'm looking at trading out Langford this week and seeing how Langdon goes. If he has an average game against St Kilda I will upgrade him next week to Bartel.

Woppa15

I have no idea what to do with Langdon as I don't have an upgrade for him because my backline is finished. But I feel like its a waste of cash leaving him on the bench. Was thinking of downgrading Fas to Bews via some DPP links which woul end up with Langdon @ M9 and Shenton @ F8.

So end up with questionable Def bench cover in Bews and Georgiou.

I did hear from a little birdy that Honeychurch will be getting a run in the next couple of weeks so if he goes alright I could trade Georgiou or Bews out for him via Langdon DPP. But then Langdon is on the bench again  :o

We have been hearing that for the last 2 months. We just are desperate for another cheap fwd with DPP to help finish our sides I think!!

Hmm, I'm concerned about Langdon.

Easier draw? Yep. But will the ball even get to the Pies defensive 50!?

Remember the game against the blues?? Just floated across the halfback/centre as the blues just kept panicking and bombing out of defense, straight into his hands, amd never any pressure on his kicks back in so kept his DE up too

Yeah great point, thats what I'm hoping for. Hes an intercept mark beast when allowed to be loose...
