QuoteFremantle coach Ross Lyon isn't fretting about the prospect of losing Nat Fyfe despite rival clubs getting ready to circle the out-of-contract midfielder.

What's better than 1 premiership medal around your neck?  2 of them.

Freo won't let him go. They'll match any offer thrown at Fyfe

I agree that Freo won't let him go but not sure if they will match ANY offer.  You would suspect that Fyfe will get a lot of money and be one of the top paid players at the club.

Sorry, any realistic offer*

They won't let him walk

What about if someone like Hawthorn, who supposedly have the Buddy cash offered him $1m - as much chance (arguably more) to win 1 or 2 with the Hawks than Freo post 2015

But you would not be doing your job is you were at Melb or GWS not having a crack

As a side question. What value or % would you put on lost potential earnings if Fyfe stays in WA?

If he moves to Vic and continues his natural progression, he is in the leagues top10 players for the next 10years. Very marketable. The market as a whole in Vic is obviously much larger, more opportunities to earn endorsements.

Would 50% be unreasonable? ie if he could earn $1m in endorsements in WA he could expect $2m in Vic?

Not sure to be honest but he wouldnt be competing with many here in Perth

The jumping palm tree is the only one he would be competing with IMO
