I think Patton's gonna be the one that goes, I'm sure a lot of clubs will be very interested. Not sure what the Giants would trade him for though, his value is probably fairly hard to gauge at this point in time.
Surely Carlton would make a play for Patton?

i'd say they want a decent experienced midfielder like a Mundy or a decent experienced tall defender
Silvagni it is then!

Haha, take a step back mate. Don't want to pay overs ;)
yeh your right...

Patton + Cameron for Silvagni

Mutually beneficial, much better! May as well throw in Dawson as a sweetener for Freo ;)

All Victorian clubs have shown interest in Kristian Jaksch.

Jono O'Rourke has been 'linked favourably' to Collingwood.

Buntine has attracted 'significant interest' from Hawthorn and Geelong.

Shiel, Cameron and Patton have all been linked with moves home but are considered unlikely to return.

GWS have been linked to Jack Frost from Collingwood, whose brother plays for the Giants.

New Melbourne recruit, Dom Tyson has made a big statement to his former GWS teammates, urging Giants young guns to pursue avenues to return back to Victoria where "greater opportunities await".

Tyson, who is enjoying a breakout year playing consistent senior football with Melbourne saying "I haven't regretted the move one bit."

The likes of Kristian Jaksch, Matthew Buntine, Jonathan Patton, Jeremy Cameron, Tom Boyd, Dylan Shiel and Jonathan O'Rourke are either out of contract or regarded as "gettable" by Victorian list managers.

Whilst Collingwood has been strongly linked to Jonathan O'Rourke, Carlton and the Bulldogs are pursuing swingman Kristian Jaksch, whilst the Demons and Tigers are heavily into Dylan Shiel, who is dating Mark "Choco" Williams' daughter an is eyeing a returning to Victoria.

There is some heavily speculation that one of Patton, Cameron or Boyd will be traded to a Victorian team in either the 2014 or 2015 trade period.

They'd both get opportunities at basically any club. Maybe Patton would be a bit of a fringe player at Sydney/ Hathorn, but apart from that.

You've had greater opportunities Tyson because you haven't been injured, like you were for most of your 2 years at the giants.
Jaksch, Buntine and O'Rourke could all possibly go- none of them are really getting the opportunities they probably should.

Big Mac

This trade period will be very interesting - Can't wait to see what Roosy can pull off this time

North Melbournes Finest

GWS please take Ziebell! Both under performing massively this year.

As in both GWS and JZ are underperforming?

The benchmark for GWS this season was basically 4-5 wins... we're sitting on 4 atm, despite horror run of injuries to our backline, and personally I think atm we've shown enough for the season, and we've gpt richmond, north, melbourne, collingwood, WBD to come... hopefully we can snag a win from those.

As for Ziebell... he's been struggling with injury most of the season. But hey, I rate him, so I'd take him :P

Dogs a chance to snare Patton, Boyd or Jaksch?  ::)

I honestly don't think Boyd is going to be moving this year.

If they made a big play for Jaksch... maybe :P
