Jeremy Cameron says he has no plans to leave GWS

JEREMY Cameron expects to play out his career with Greater Western Sydney and the club is totally comfortable with where contract talks sit with the young superstar.

A News Ltd report on Tuesday states Cameron and his management have put contract talks on hold and rejected offers of a new long-term deal, something the club has flatly refuted.

Currently contracted until the end of 2015, AFL.com.au understands the Giants are at ease with the situation surrounding the 21-year-old and intend to hold talks with him about his future at season's end.

Cameron was one of the first players signed by the Giants and has fully embraced the club, stating he now considers Sydney home.

Frankly, I just read an article in the herald sun which claimed you could get into uni for teaching with an atar less than 50... despite being skeptical I gave the article the benefit of the doubt, went on the uac website and looked at all the teaching courses... the lowest ATAR requirement of which was 58.

So basically, I'm not going to be believing much that comes out of such a dodgy ass paper for a while.

Technically you can, there are bridging courses and prep courses you can do to get into teaching without an actual ATAR. Pretty dodge but.

but you still have to do the degree at university of which the atar cut off is not under 50 yeah?

Naaa... i know someone who did it. They call it a portfolio entry.. All you need is 4 C's and then you put together a portfolio and they can take you. From there you do like a one year prep course at uni. Then do your 3 year degree. So fukddd

lol was a bit of talk on the radio over here discussing Patton and that he'd be the big man to leave. Surely they will do everything in their power to keep Cameron

I've always wondered what the hell GWS are trying to do... they got Cameron and Patton (who was the No.1 draft pick) and then Tom Boyd (again, No.1 draft pick) and also Cam McCarthy.

If we disregard Boyd and McCarthy. Do they keep their prized No.1 draft pick in Patton with a track record of injuries and whatnot or do they keep the promising country kid that came 3rd in the Coleman?

I'd lean towards keeping Cameron, but he'd probably have more currency?

Exactly. Its all well and good to pick these guys because they were the best player in the draft, but some sort of team cohesion needs to be looked at as well?

Freo have a shiiiiiit ton of cash lying around and they NEED a big key forward when Pav retires... Perth is pretty sunny even through winter.

Who or what would Freo give away though? Their first round pick aint going to cut it and I cant see them giving up anyone decent that GWS would want.

i'd say they want a decent experienced midfielder like a Mundy or a decent experienced tall defender

Yes I think a tall defender is really what they need, that's pretty obvious given two players have kicked a combined 22 goals on them in the last two games :P
