Mr.Craig

I haven't heard about the extent of McEvoy's hamstring but I'd imagine Roughead will replace him and we'll maintain Ceglar who had a reasonable game. Despite racking up 18 touches in a half I still can't shake my dislike of Simpkin. Woodward, Ross and Webster were all named in the best for Box Hill but the latter 2 would need to be elevated. Hopefully we'll get Lake and Cyril back in a couple of weeks.

Fingers crossed Hodge doesn't cop a whack from the MRP.

Reckon Hartung is pretty safe mate?

I am not exaggerating, I didn't see him once during the game so I was shocked to find out he got 17 touches and a goal. Probably says more about my eyesight.

He should be right for now but I think Cyril will likely take his spot in a couple of weeks.

JBs-Hawks

Was in the eastern stand and saw hartung a fair bit and he did enough.

Haha I was the same. Surprised he was scoring like he was, then slowed a bit.
Cheers thanks mate

Same. His disposal was pretty shower at times but then again he had a few mates in that department on the night.

JBs-Hawks

He looked a bit shaky under pressure or in 1 on 1 situations but then again he is only a first year player and every game we give him will be amazing for his development.

Think a full Hawthorn squad would've won by about 20-30 points last weekend. Whether they can all come together in time is the trick.

Plus GWS is an easy game for your team to get in form. Wonder if I should back Gunston to kick 11 straight this week

Hope Roughy kicks 4+

Unless he gets injured its probably a given

Roughy in for McEvoy or Ceglar. Only change IMO unless they want to give Woodward a run vs GWS.

Saw Hartung a few times, he had a few good runs but there was one point where he had two shocking disposals in a row that both could have set up goals. I don't think the answer is dropping him against GWS though, I think every game he plays is going to be beneficial in the long run- particularly if injuries hit later in the year and he finds himself playing a final.

I have the same opinion of Simpkin as MC, it would be out of him and Hartung as to who is out when Rioli returns. Probably the other one comes out for Lake (doesn't need to be a like for like as we are already playing extra mids and a depleted defence).

thinking of bringing roughie into my sc this week.... hope he goes nuts!

No news on McEvoy's hamstring? Would really throw another spanner in the works :-\
