Hi guys.

As you know LaHug runs a pretty tight captain ship so I thought I'd offer you something better ;)

This is Nails' Captains thread. Essentially it's a thread on who NOT to captain ;) Seeing as I'm a professional at picking a terrible captain I thought I could help you all avoid some disastrous captain selections

What's my qualifications to be the best at picking the worst captain option from legitimate premiums I hear you ask? Here is my bad captain resume for 2014:

Rd 1: T. Rockliff (96)
Rd 2: G. Ablett (80)
Rd 3: S. Pendlebury  (94)
Rd 4: G. Ablett (132)
Rd 5: G. Ablett (119)
Rd 6: T. Rockliff (76)
Rd 7: S. Johnson (126)
Rd 8: L. Montagna (91)
Rd 9: T. Rockliff (0) - I cursed him with late withdrawal
Rd 10: G. Ablett (78)

A captain average of 99.11 this season. Considering I could have just locked captaincy on any pretty much any of my midfielders and averaged 115 this shows how bad I am and how good I am at cursing players.

Therefore You now have the opportunity to read Nails' Captains where I'll nail 1 guy for the week to perform poorly, so the rest of you can avoid him like the plague.

to justify your last 2:

Carlton are the most miserly side in the comp (as I pointed out in the rd8 thread) - giving a score over 115 three times this season (2 of them in rd1, Chappy in rd3) - no score over 115 since rd5

WB (as I greatly publicised in this week's thread) have given up 2 scores over 125 this season, to Murphy and LeCras, so not exactly porous for DT purposes - even though Metricon is apparently great for DT

Tonight I will be vice captaining Steve Johnson.

I'm not too bad with Vice Captains though so might be one worth jumping on.

Stevie J vice and if I didn't have Steve I would be putting the vice on Jelwood.

By mentioning Johnson and Selwood as my VC options I jinxed the entire team. As the saying goes, the best captain is a non-Nails captain.
