Nic Naitanui has declared he is the fittest he has been so far this season ahead of Saturdays clash with Collingwood at the MCG.

I am the best Ive been this season, he said.

At the moment Im pretty comfortable with how Im going, how Im progressing and more my management comes throughout the week, through my training loads, rather than my game time.

Naitanui and the rest of the playing group were given several days leave during the Clubs bye week, following last weekends 111 point victory over Greater Western Sydney.

The bodys feeling good, weve had three or four days off to refresh and get ready for the second half of the year

For us it was a bye to get away, but at the same time I still had my running that I needed to do and my skill work, so it was just a rest away from the club really, he said.


Lets hope Nic is ready to bust out for the rest of the year
