Ringo

Have Lynn and Flintoff

Lynn, White, Lumb, Hales (Doolan)
Kallis, Flintoff (Botha)
Dunk (Hartley)
Laughlin, Rimmington. Cummins, Hilfenhaus (Bollinger)

I'd be carefully of Flintoff Ringo. I can see him batting at 8 or 9. You can't justify picking an allrounder batting there.

Yep, I agree.

Wouldn't touch Doolan either, plenty of better bench options.

People should avoid Cummins too, don't say I didn't warn ya.

Here's what I think the Heat starting 11 will look like.

1. Joe Burns
2. James Peirson
3. Chris Lynn
4. Nathan Reardon
5. Peter Forrest
6. Dan Christian
7. James Hopes
8. Ben Cutting
9. Andrew Flintoff
10. Daniel Vetorri
11. Alister McDermott/Cameron Gannon

Im probably wrong and one of those batsmen, Forrest maybe will be dropped and McDermott/Gannon will go in. But this is how I want to see it.

Take home message - DON'T PICK BRISBANE HEAT ALL ROUNDERS.

Why do you say this? I'm interested.

Because there are just better options and I don't trust Cummins at all.

I'd pick every other Thunder pace bowler before him.

Interesting. Still locking him in my side though.

Hey Lads any chance for Dan Christian to open? I've got a fair maount of Stars and Haat players and they both have the bye in R2. He opened the batting in their warm-up match and that makes him a hell of a lot more valuable, but if hes just as likely to stay at 4/5 I may swap him for Pollard that leaves me with more players in R2
I don't think he'll open. Probably wouldn't even pick him if he did  :-X.

Which other Heat players do you have out of interest? I don't have many in my team and I'm massively bias  :P.

I've got Christian, Burns, Pierson and Forrest (dw he's gone when i log back in)

Sweetness

My Rd 1 team:

Bat: White, Hodge, Lumb, Maddi (Klinger)
A/R: Maxy, Wright (Turner)
WKs: Hartley (Pierson)
Bwl: Rimming, Lee, Bollinger, Beer (Arafat)

Then after Rd1,
Maxy -> Henriques
Beer -> Paris/Behrendorf
White -> Voges

Allows my Round 2 team to have 10 players with a DGW.

Burns is an all right pick, he was in my team for a time, but I decided to put my bias aside. Wouldn't go picking Christian though, see one of my above posts for the heat best 11.

Good planning, should get you off to a flyer. I'm doing the same and will have around 8 DGW players for my round two side.

Currently got Patty Cummins as my last bowler, think he will kill it, why are so many people against him?

Where are the 13 man teams? I know it's a showerty hit and giggle meaningless comp but if you are going to make a fantasy comp out of it and have all the games on separate days, then you need to release the teams at an appropriate time!
