So how's everyone going in this?

I'm going all right. Ranked 241st at the moment :P

16th :P
Christian donut may hurt.
Another good score mate, will be interesting to see your ranking now ;)

Cheers mate :)
743, pretty solid considering Christian donut, Harris misfiring and Arafats poor 2nd game.

None of the Canes scream "pick me" for next week.
Will have a look at Bailey/Boyce/Bresnan.

Dunk and Paine maybe? Boyce good option too. Bailey bats too low I reckon.

I have Boyce and Mennie (if he plays). I'll probably grab Dunk too I guess?

TomK

I have Bailey and Mennie, brought them both in before this round. Will probably bring in Dunk, Hilfenhaus and maybe Wells.

Sweetness

I've been toying with Dunk.
Wasn't planning on using a trade in my Keepers, but may change my mind...

"The Hobart Hurricanes have suffered a double injury blow ahead of their must-win match against the Sydney Thunder on Friday night with two key batsmen ruled out due to injury.
Vice-Captain Tim Paine (broken toe) and middle order batsman Travis Birt (strained hamstring) will both miss the match to be played at Spotless Stadium in Sydney."

676, looks decent. My last minute change of heart to start finch over bailey cost me 50 points, wright was bad but a lot had him, happy with everyone else. Very happy with this weeks addition of tye, and making dorf captain.

Very interested in what their XI looks like now.
Bailey/Wells/Malik to open?

If Malik gets 2-3 overs he could be worth the huge price.

Nige

I think Michael Hill may even be a chance to come in, he used to open for Victoria/Renegades iirc.

I didn't even know Malik was still playing for the Hurricanes, may have to consider him, but I don't think there's gonna be much point with Kallis/Stokes as my two allrounders.

I'd the say team would have to be something like:
Dunk
Hill
Malik
Bailey
Wells
Bresnan
Gulbis
Boyce
Hilfenhaus
Doherty
Reed

Starting to get nervous now haha.

The bloke in 2nd I think I can beat, however 1st place is 180ish points in front and has a very good team for the run home.

Bailey's expected omission's from Hobart's Rd 7 game is really annoying.

Now to avoid a donut in my batsmen in Rd.7 I'm probably going to have keep Dunk instead of bringing in Ludeman's DGW.

Alternatively should I ignore Bailey for this round's DGW and take a punt on Michael Hill or a non-DGW player such as Mr. Cricket ???

Um, flower. So the plan was to trade in Ben Stokes for Ashton Turner, but I've got Wright and Kallis already. I feel like to bring Stokes in, I'll have to trade one out and downgrade them to SOK or somebody like that.

Strikers have the DGW next week after their bye this week, so I think I should keep Ludeman my only Striker and maybe get Dunk in for the Canes DGW.

The problem now is that next week two team have byes (Stars and Scorchers) and then again in the last week (Hurricanes and Heat).

Team is:
Klinger, Harris, Reardon, Forrest, White
Wright, Turner, Kallis
Ludeman, Hartley
Behrendorff, Tye, Duffield, Bollinger, Sandhu

So I'm thinking:
Turner -> Stokes
Kallis -> SOK (could potentially wait a week for this trade but that means I'll have to decide which two of Wright/Stokes/Kallis to play)
Klinger/Harris -> Bailey/Hill or Duffield/Dougie -> Boyce
