Charlie Cameron - he's my EMG, can I get his score or not?

Hi fellas

I've got 19 playing players this week but just a bit unsure about how the EMG system will work

I traded Charlie Cameron into my team prior to the partial lockout last night and made him my EMG because I wanted to see how he went

I'm happy with his 62, given I have Ambrose and Lloyd on field at the moment, so if I was to put Higgins - who has a bye - on my field, with Cameron on my bench as EMG, would Cameron sub on for Higgins or would his score not count (because I have 18 players before EMGs)?

Would the 18 on-field take precedence over emergencies or do normal EMG rules apply?

You can put Higgins on field instead of Ambrose that way Cameron will come on for the non-playing Higgins. You just won't have Ambrose scoring

Yeah that sounds like it should work fine mate. Just make sure you don't put an 'E' on Ambrose because that would mean you get his score (if he scores less than Cameron).

Well I would've thought that if you have a donut on field then your emergency effectively comes on to the field.. Doesn't really make sense otherwise :P

But hey who knows with AF.
