Yeah I did hear that as well! I'm thinking Thompson/Dixon will be used to give him a rest at times though, and to be honest Bock slots into the team when fit. Few good weeks at NEAFL level he should be ready to go.

Was averaging 20 touches a game at NEAFL level.

Toga

Yeah his form has been very solid. I'm jumping on!

Haha, i jumped on as soon as lockout finished after round 8! :P Hope I don't have to reverse my trades!

20 touches a game in the NEAFL? That's crap.

Toga

Yes we know how much you hate Nathan Bock for some reason nrich.

You are the official "Bock Hate Club".  There are no better downgrade options in the forward line period at this stage.  20 touches for a guy priced at 135k sounds good to me, should average at least 60 maybe more.

Sam Michael and Niall Mckeever can average more touches a game than that...

Especially for a KPP who will kick goals & take marks on top of those positions. Not sure why nrich has such a vendetta against him ::)

It's either Bock this week and Walker next week or Walker this week and Bock next week. Bock this week would be better money wise but Walker this week would be better JS wise. Hmmm. I might just take the safer option with Tex.

Why's Tex' JS better?  Bock is a senior player who has missed due to injury. He's there to help them win games, they want thim on the field! I'd be taking Tex if I thought he was a keeper and I do think he will score reasonably high his first week back.  The downgrade of Bock lets me start upgrading to super premos each week.

Why do Gold Coast need another KPF? Surly Lynch, Day and Dixon are the scariest forward line in the competition, why make it scarier? Down back they also have Thompson and May who are arguably 2 of the best defenders on the game and would not be surprised if one of them got All Australian.

Think Charlie Cameron is a much better pick.

I wouldn't rate Bock best 22. Here's what I think Gold Coasts best 22 is like.

FB: Broughton, Thompson, Harbrow
HB: Mckenzie, May, Kolodjashinij
C: Martin, Prestia, Swallow
HF: Bennell, Lynch, Day
FF: Smith, Dixon, Matera
R: Nicholls, JOM, GAJ

I: Shaw, Stanley, Hall, Lemmens

That leaves Rischitelli, Bock, Lonergan, Cameron, Taylor, Gorringe, Tape, Sumner, Murphy and Hunt all knocking on the door.

Normally at least one of Smith/Nicholls is injured, letting Rischitelli in. McKenna has stated he may rest Kolodashinij and Lemmes i think, which may let Bock have a run, but wouldn't be surprised if he does get in if he isn't in for very long.

Now that is a constructive post!  ;)

Bock will probably lose a foot or something anyway  ::)
