Why does this game only start at 4:40pm with no other Sunday Games?

True that.
Even the attendance would have copped a knock due to the shower time slot.

Most people would have Acres, but the sub is not surprising considering his decision making and ball use was poor last week. He is still a kid and it might be best for his development to bring him into the game when the sting has gone out of it and GC are comfortably in front. It would give him a chance to rack up some easy ball without a lot of pressure which would be a confidence builder.

You think st.kilda are going into the game planning to be comfortably down late in the game? Lol
He did turn a few over but he was still one of their better players and should be playing from the start.

Toga

Was thinking about getting in Blacres after this Ropund so might turn out well for me as he might be more affordable than I expected in AF next week :P

Bill Manspeaker

yeah agree Toges hopefully he loses some cash this ropund and even more the week after and becomes a good downgrade

The players obviously go in to win, but the coaching staff would be looking at it long picture.

He was shocking last week with his decision making, it wasn't just one mistake, every time he touched the ball early it was a turnover and then he also had that shocking mistake of playing on from a mark when he was surrounded by two Carlton players, handpassing it in board when he was tackled which resulted in a Carlton rebound and goal. This is another case of, they scored well in SC so they must have been one of the best on ground when it was certainly not the case. He is still a kid, they need to try and develop him to be a long term player, they still want him to get a taste of top level football but they must not think he is ready for a full game, watching his performance last week I tend to agree.

Who has gone to Ablett?

Curren or Jones?

I'll let you know in a minute. Just turned it on.

Hayes lined up next to him at the bounce and it looked like Jones has gone to him after the initial contest

Yup, Jones, Jones tackled him in front of goal giving away a free which Gaz nailed the goal

Cannon and Farren Ray are both lining up loose in defense. Are they sure they want to leave Cannon free?

Vinny

Never let Cannon free, he will destroy you.

And thanks Mat and RD. Hope Gaz destroys him.

AaronKirk

Cannon just gave Nroo a (legal) clip.

Milera with the Saints first goal.

Had to hold off on trading in Acres now. Been an interesting Ropund
