I know times are tough for a lot of people, but being an AFL junkie if I was in a hard position I really would give up something else in life - Fox Footy is a must for me!

Not a fan of Monday games too - delays SC lockout!

I'm not against Fox but I just don't want to pay for all the other garbage on the base package.I'm only interested in the sport package which conveniently only comes as an add on....

What happened to the good ol' days of Friday night broadcast,Saturday afternoon broadcast, Saturday night broadcast, Sunday midday broadcast and Sunday afternoon broadcast all on free to air....

I used to be able to watch Friday night, play for the local side on Saturday, watch the game Sat night over a few too many beers with the boys an then watch footy all Sunday while recovering from the night before.

Hating it!!!

scrap the byes, give everyone one week off and maybe play a state of origin match, this 3 weeks of pain must end!
Agree.

But I do like having three trades a week!

even without the viewpoint of supercoach, it just really stops the season just as it was getting going
Agree.

Let's hope things change in the McLachlan era.

anything past the sunday twilight which I love is a waste of time. SC and RDT open by 9:00 is great and I can look at how shower might team was. Monday night game the game only finishes at 10:00 and open by Midnight I don't want to wait that long!!!

The Monday arvo ones on Public Holidays are alright like Geelong vs Hawthorn because it's always a great game!!!

Im for it.. Something decent to watch on a Monday! Just effs with ours trades and what not.. But we'll survive!

As much as I'm looking forward to doing my trades for round 9, I enjoy having something to watch on TV tonight. Monday night footy for the win!

Yeah I hear that, and the stupid thing is Foxtel is the easiest company to threaten to cancel on and they always give you a big discount for staying on, they are desperate to keep customers, but they could have so many more customers if they offered Sports only for something like $40 a month or whatever

What I personally do is that at the end of the season, I call them and downgrade to FTA only, they only charge $10 per month and you can still pause/rewind and record (plus I don't have antenna - it's cable) and then once the Footy season starts I upgrade again, so I am really only paying for it during the season, because other than that every other channel is just reruns that I have seen a million times, and I download all the shows I watch anyway

Would rather watch Gerard, Robbo and the great Premiership winning Coaches Bomber and Roos on 360

Yeah but no 360 because of the footy >:(

Same mate. Got no problem with spreading the games over more days. Means less days between the next round
Probably prefer Thursday night games over Monday nights but no real concern

Mailman the 2nd

Shows that are being broadcasted on Monday night over the AFL:

- Outback truckers
- Pawn Stars
- American Restoration

I hate it. Only because instead of doing my uni assignments, here I am on the forums ahaha. It's only worse when it's on FTA ;)

Would much rather limit my procrastination to Fri-Sun.

I will add also: I understand Thursday and Monday night games in other rounds, but when there are only 6 games, why drag it out? There was an empty slot on Sunday afternoon!!!!!!!!!  >:(

If the AFL are serious about Monday night footy, it has to be a free-to-air game.
...Also no football Sunday or Monday on telly in Adelaide  wtf, what a joke.

Have you done this before? I might give it a go if it works ;)

Been doing it every 6 months for the past 5 or so years.

Call up, threaten to cancel, offer you a 6 months discount, agree to stay, rinse and repeat every 6 months :)
