Toying with a similar idea of Fasolo to Kitchell by switching Dusty back forward, and earn $100k doing so.

Kitchells JS is a question mark, plus I do think Fasolo can get back to scoring well...

I honestly think his JS is quite good, and has shown his ability to run out games, tackle all day and play his role for the team. Looking at their injury list he isnt holding anyone's spot.

If you need a cash cow, get Shenton. Kane Mitchell is a risky mid pricer, risky mid pricers aren't great to pick e.g. Jackson Merrett, Caddy, Webster etc.

Capper

Mitchell does cost more but i see less risk involved in getting Mitchell. The problem is though if you get Shenton in, does he play every week for the rest of the year, or is he just there for you to make money out of as you downgrade to him. If you get Mitchell in then does he sit on your bench or does he start.

If you want a bench player get Shenton, if you want a starter get Mitchell

Kane Mitchell shouldn't be a starter at this stage. You should either be bringing in a rook for cash i.e. Shenton or bringing in a premo. The time for mid-pricers is over.

Waste of a trade at this stage, you should either be downgrading to a cheap rook or be upgrading to a premium. You shouldn't be getting Mid-pricers who arent keepers at this stage.

Nah I'm undecided, Kane Mitchell has potential to be a top 5 midfielder but his lack of pre-season scares me. At this stage I would select him over Selwood as Kane Mitchell is an out and out premium with potential to get 150's every week. Expect him to be a keeper and to rack up 30 touches a game. What I''m weary of is the tag, he is too good so he will be no.1 tagged however unlike Gaj, Kane Mitchell has shown that he can break the tag and destroy games single-handedly. If he doesn't win the Brownlow this year, he will win it next year. At 250k he is a lock and is far superior to other options at 500-600k. He also has top 5 hair potential in the AFL which should also be considered when selecting Kane "Better than Jesus Christ" Mitchell.

That's what I thought you were trying to tell us.

I think there is merit in trading him in for Acres this week.

-58 BE, decent JS. Can either be used as bench cover at M10 or good cash generation.

If he can average around 75ppg in the next 4-5 weeks he will appreciate to around $350k.

Definitely considering trading him in this week.

It would be a solid trade if he reached at least 400k in price. He would've made ~150k that way. We often cash-in rookies when they've made less than that.

What about Matt Thomas? He's averaging over 100, priced at over 400k and was priced the same as Mitchell. Port are flying!!

He is the exception, not the rule.

Think the Mitchell surname is jinxed this year. Don't think anyone has had any luck with the other two.
While a tempting M9, I think I'll pass.   :)
