Cameron Shenton is in line to play his second AFL game after the Half-back was elevated to the senior list today!

I've seen him play for Sandy in the VFL and I reckon he's a pretty decent player, hope he gets a good run.

He will want to show everyone what he can do so he can get lifted off the rookie list. Seeings as all the hype this year has been around Templeton and Weller.

The Saints have a really interesting choice ahead of them come the end of the season as far as rookie elevations go. You'd think that both Eli and Mav would be solid chances to get promoted to the senior list for 2015.

But then the worst choice ahead would be who are they delisting? Because who out of the older guys are looking to retire this year?

Nige

Yeah, that's true. There's gotta be a few candidates for delisting I'm sure. Either one of TDL or Milera and maybe Lewis Pierce?

You'd think guys like Lenny might hang around for at least one more year.

If TDL or Milera get dropped I hope they stay with Sandringham. Haha... They've been good for the 2s

Noz

Easily been there best player this season in the VFL. Hopefully he can transform that to AFL.

BoredSaint

cant see lenny going one more year after this season..

Bill Manspeaker

yeah I don't see Lenny going for another year. which is really unfortunate because it'll leave him JUST short of 300 games

gonna be a sad day when he retires :(  hope he goes again

also congrats to Shenton. well deserved and hope he can perform in the big league

Nige

I'm hoping he does a whole playing coach kind of thing where he'll be managed and play even once a month maybe idk.

elephants

Haha I like Shenton, funny that he's a half-back but listed as a fwd/mid in fantasy :P

His role can vary though, a bit like Jimmy Bartel or Brendon Goddard... even somebody Dustin Martin.

They can all play all over the ground.
