Out of curiosity guys if Isaac Heeney wasn't going to Sydney at pick 15/16, how high do you think he might have been picked?

ie. how good is he compared to other draft prospects?

I dunno about everyone else, but I've been hearing top 5?

Yeah most were saying he was in the top 3/4 midfielders

There's a case to be made that he's actually the best mid in this draft.

Probably top 3 imo.

Ziplock

We'll see depending on where other clubs bid on him though :P

Nige

The draft combine starts tomorrow, this is where things will get interesting.

Toga

Yeah, Heeney was labelled as potentially the best mid in the draft due to his good inside/outside mix; probably would've been top 3 you would think.

Lucky Swans!

Top 3 for sure. Him and Petracca are arguably the two best players in this draft, but Petracca and Brayshaw aren't far behind. Then there's the next crop of talls in Durdin, Wright, Lever, Goddard, etc.

Yep, been hearing he's a great all round midfielder and easily a top 3 in the draft with Brayshow/Petrecca in the mids. Steal for the Swans if they land him!

day 1 of the draft combine

See that the Saints interviewed 16 players today? I don't know if that's a lot in one day... But to me it seems like heaps!
