I will say he's alright now just playing against him before I am struggling to agree with everyone saying he's a gun

Toga

Well I've heard Durdin is a monster :P Didn't set the world alight in West's foxtel cup game the other night but give him a chance to get back into his footy just coming back from injury ;)

@ Tominator Gold Coast Suns no longer have the priority zone picks.

Tominator

Unlike past years, where the likes of Scully; Whitfield; Boyd, etc, have had the top pick sewn up by May, but this year there is no standout Number 1 pick yet. Going to be a very wide open draft

Peter Wright, Sam Durdin, Patty McCartin, Angus Brayshaw and Hugh Goddard are probably the top 5 contenders at this stage. Jake Lever and Christian Petracca are both seen by some as potential bolters

Just a note that Wright kicked 6 goals for the Calder Cannons on the weekend

Tominator

20 players to watch in the NAB U18 Championships which kicks off this weekend

Also, the draft age may be raised to 19 if this proposal is given the go-ahead - http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-05-13/clubs-split-on-draft-age

Nige

Lachie is better than Mav, should go top 10.

Good read that article, Tom.

Christian Petracca

I've been a tad disappointed with Petracca so far this year but I really hope he has a good Champs. Although, I wouldn't mind it if he slipped down to the Hawks. :P

Isaac Heeney from the Sydney Swans academy will play for NSW and is by far their best player. Tough inside midfielder, he's a typical Swans player (think Luke Parker, Dan Hannebery, Jude Bolton, etc). Not sure if Swans get priority access to him or not
Swans do have priority access

Depending on where you finish, he's probably worth your first round pick. I reckon other clubs will bid for him

Mr.Craig

Nige

Really rate a lot of the names across those two teams.

The 51-man squads for VIC Metro and VIC Country will be trimmed to 40 after the first round of matches, and those who aren;t playing the Championship game are playing in a Metro v Country trial immediately afterwards

Any public announcement on the SA and WA Squads? I saw that WA had their jumper presentation the other night
