I feel like Petracca's going to better long term and the Dees have Hogan, so adding to what is already becoming a good looking midfield would be awesome for them. I don't think they're too fussed either way.

Yeh I don't either. Its just that pick #1 worthy (on potential) key fwds don't come around that often.
Taking 1 gun fwd to pair with Hogan and 1 gun mid makes a bit more sense to me

makes sense that article said Saints fans would need to be patient with new draftees but Petracca is ready to go so weird article if they get Petracca but makes sense if they get McCartin

I suppose it's not necessarily the best player the saints want...its who they need, and given Roo is no spring chicken...it might be a good idea to find his replacement!

also did anybody else the draftee RATINGS in the Herald Sun? it was Champion Data's one. they have Cockatoo at 20, Duggan at 23..very interesting
