Well, not for Hawthorn given we have the bye in two weeks. :P

My gut says he won't play until Round 11.

He needs to make sure Hartung and Simpkin stay under him for the time being.

Really looking forwards to seeing how Hartung plays, looks like a real pocket rocket.

Big question is, with Hawthorn blooding all these youngsters - would Garlett have been in the mix for a debut had he persisted? :o

He could have been elite if he'd persisted but we'll never know. And neither will he.

It annoys me so much that we got to see FA of Garlett, could have been great and I was so keen too..

Anyway..

Hawks are unbelievably good, best in the competition by huge margin IMO.

Only guys that are looking slightly close are Port and Geelong.

Yeah agreed Vin, looking supremely good. I didn't get to see the game yesterday, how did Hartung play? Got lots of the footy by the looks of it :P

In the first half he was going at around 55% disposal efficiency but ended up in the mid 70's which suggests he started to gain some more composure. Haven't seen the game yet either.
