Backline Rookies - Still to come?

So like most people this week I am doing the Robertson/Lloyd trades.  However I am now really concerned with which backline rookies are left after Cutler?

Gardiner - will play his 2nd game this week but scoring potential?

Tippet J - will debut this week but is it only one week while Thompson is suspended?

Fuller - appears to be most likely of those yet to play or be named.  But when is the question?

Who else is there?

Backline may have to be upgraded with cash earned in the midfield this year?

I want to know what Clurey is up to

Scharenberg may play really late
Golds
DPearce maybe if LTI occurs
Steinberg went ok in pre season
Yagmoor

But ur right...its a real stretch to see any on the horizon

Teams are always upgraded with cash earnt in the midfield?

Thats where all the big cash is earnt?

Well apparently the cool kids think that anyways...

Running around in the Scooby Doo's - more or less no chance to return anytime soon

Fuller seems to have all but disappeared.

Any Doggies supporters able to assure me his selection is near?

Hi guys, where is Matt fuller at? Any chance of him getting games soon?

Nowhere near it, unfortunately. Injury crisis aside I doubt we'll see him any time soon.

With 5 omissions this week from the Lions and Gardiner surviving, I reckon he will be a good option if he lines up again next week. I wouldn't worry too much about his scoring potential as it's likely that he will just sit on our bench for the entire year aside from bye rounds of course.

+1

May grab him next week for Langdon, who looks like being sub to be honest..either that, or grab Cutler at like 150k-160k

I'll be going Higgins to Gardiner via Taylor dpp (to forward bench) and Langdon dpp (to mid bench)

Then Dunstan to Griffen

Week after Langdon to Newton, O'rouke or Honeychurch and McDonald to Hanley who should be around $450,000  8)

Thanks for all the replies!!

I guess the main concern is having a rookie for the byes, so Gardiner looks the best option right now.  Tippet if he holds his spot for the next month.

In past seasons I have always managed an upgrade/downgrade in just the backline but probably not this year.  Keep churning through the midfield rookies while we can.

Oh man that vacuums... thanks for the heads up

Might have to do a hard upgrade there - into a Hibberd / SThompson or Birchall I think

Keeper27

I don't care who comes through.
They'll be downgrade bench sitters

Ringo

Just remember I think the match comittee at brisbane is making a statement that reputaions count for nothing with the outs over the last 2 weeks so can see pressure being applied to both Gardiner and Cutler by Harwood, Golby and McStay yet to make an appearance. Keep an eye on McStay as he could be a late downgrade option as Leppa has made it clear that all draftees will be given some game time this year.

Yep, had him since round one, and as much as it hurts to trade a player that's made no money, I have flicked him this week looking to bolster the squad with players that will be playing through the byes.

If Gardiner plays a full game tonight, and is named again next week, would you jump on Ringo?

He's survived Merrett and Hanley coming back in, and being named on the HBF seems encouraging.

I think I might pass on both of these Brisbane rookies

I would prefer to upgrade Langdon to a 5th premo defender, and then I can leave LMac at D6 with Langford and Georgiou on the bench, and that can stay like that for as long as required, allowing me to focus on getting my midfield stronger
