I was initially going to go...

Ellis/Tyson to Robertson and Rohan to Lloyd

But then I thought..

Ellis/Tyson to Lloyd via Taylor

Rohan to Gray

Thoughts please....

I'll assume you mean Robbie Gray

Double downgrade is a must this week IMO, because there isn't going to be too many options available over the next few weeks, so cash generation is priority 1 this week

Do your upgrades next week

Yeah mate, Robbie Gray

Ringo

Depends on what you cash reserve is like if low like most as RD says a double downgrade is preferred heps of cash to be made downgrading to Robbo and Lloyd this week.
If you do have ample cash then Gray is OK .
Reason I am taking Robbo this week rather than do an upgrade is that I think he will only have 2/3 more price rises as Clay Beams is nearing return and think it will be Robbo who may make way although Aish is showing some signs of needing a rest.

fever

why get him if he's a good chance to only last 2-3 weeks?

Ricochet

Yeh this is probably the perfect week for a double downgrade mate. Current rookies like Ellis, Tyson, Dunstan and co are getting high BE's and kids like RObertson, Lloyd, Cutler, SGray, Ambrose are all on the bubble. I'd grab Robbo mate. Brissie lads on here say he has solid JS for now and he has been scoring pretty well

I see the point re double downgrade re not too many options in the future, but Robbie Gray has a BE of 35 and after this week he will be over $500K.

I just thought that this was a chance to secure a premium forward, but it will only leave me with $57,000 in the kitty.

Fair enough - but I think it might be a bit too early to get on board. I suggested Gray to quinny88 in his thread, but I have just looked at his scores, and he scored below 80 twice this year already, so it might be better to see how he goes over the next month, because he might turn into a bad pick

What do you guys think of Robertson vs Cutler?

I'm only going to grab one this week so I can trade in Riewoldt. Potentially could grab Cutler next week, but at around 160k he might be a tad expensive.

Thanks mate, yeah I'll go with the two rookies instead of the one plus Gray.

It just gets so tempting to grab a better player so you score more for the round, instead of looking at the bigger picture.

Thanks again

Grab Robbo. Aish is starting to look tired and Brisbane could really use a Robertson type player, especially with Rich going down.

I'm doing the same trade this week (i.e. Robbo and NRoo in)

Every man and his dog is double downgrading this week

Have the cash to go for M.Crouch instead. Would he be a preferred option? Or would the added cash be a waste?

This is what I'm doing at this stage. I'll keep Crouch through the byes and I think he'll be a reliable scorer until my midfield is complete.

+1, i'm in the same boat! I am looking to get rid of Ellis for a rookie mid - potentially Crouch or Robbo. I have also been stuck with Michie this whole time, such a pain! This week Michie survives again it seems, because I need to trade Mummy to avoid a donut.
