So Koop has missed team submission again, and I will be introducing a new penalty system as of now for coaches that miss team submission.

1st offence - Warning
2nd offence - Loss of 100 points for the week
3rd offence - Loss of 2 premiership points
4th offence - Potential sacking

This system will be in place as of now.

As this is Koop's third offence, the Eskimos will receive a deduction of 2 premiership points on the ladder.

Now I don't want to see any coach sacked, let me make that clear, but we do need a system in place that ensures there is some penalty for missing team submission. Me and Koop are working through his current situation, and I will keep you advised as to what will happen from here.

I agree that something needs to be done, but my big concern with this is that the rule is being put in place retrospectively.

If the rule is to be put into place I honestly feel it should start from next week.

**something we are renowned for here in AXV is not making knee-jerk rule changes ........ let's keep it that way  ;)

Yeh I reckon this is something we need to vote/discuss as a group before something is put in place

Toga

My boys from this match Cooney & Scotty Thomp are doing alright, just need Koby & Libba to fall off a bit :P

yeh pretty even between those 4.

Dahlhaus on the other hand...

Well I suppose the rule could be open for discussion, but I see that the penalties I have proposed are fair enough.

As for Koop starting again on no strikes, that would mean he could not name his team 4 times and still only be on a warning. That seems not right. I did make it clear to him in the past that there would be more penalties if he didn't make the deadline again, and they have now been imposed.

Toga

Don't like seeing people sacked but you can only be so lenient... Think the penalties are fair, it's your call in this situation I guess BB and I'd be supportive of whatever you decided. :)

Nails

Why not just get a co coach/force him to get a co-coach.

He can name team when he can but his equal power co-coach will step in when koop fails.

Koop maintains coach status but with a buddy to pick up the pieces when koop is not able to perform. Kind of like Koop viagra.

Does Koop have an assistant?
I am not sure that he does at this stage, or at least an active one.

I am trying to help him find one currently, and we are discussing what will happen next.

Yeh we needa find him one. Would love to keep Koop involved

JBs-Hawks

Penalties seem fair to me, if you fail to name a team 4 times in one season you obviously arent taking this seriously so deserve to be sacked.

Yeah comes down to:

CROCODILES: Enright, Taylor, Dahlhaus, Lloyd, Liberatore, Stevens + 194 + HGA

vs

LAMBS: Houli, Johnson (C), Hartlett, Cooney, Thompson

You've gotta be in the box seat but a big captain's score from Johnson could see us right back in the mix.
Yeh definitely not over at all. A 300+ from Sj as captain and its game on
Lloyd, Taylor and Enright doing their very best to lose this for the Crocs

CROCODILES: Enright, Taylor, Dahlhaus 137, Lloyd 55, Liberatore 145, Stevens 133 + 194 + HGA

vs

LAMBS: Houli 121, Johnson (C), Hartlett, Cooney 112, Thompson 84

So
CROCODILES: Enright, Taylor + 347 + HGA

vs

LAMBS: Johnson (C), Hartlett

and at HT Johnson is on 88(x2), Hartlett on 91 compared to Taylor -3 and Enright on 27 lol. Think we're in a bit of trouble

Memphistopheles

This is looking like a 'delicious' win for the Dolphins :D

Rioli turning it on in the Premiership quarter probably will get us home.

Nige

Bah gawd, the Lambs might win.  :o

Dusty as VC was poor, as was Captain Griffen. Hunter the sub and Hardingham scoring 19 really hurt. I think you're home.
