A hard fought win against chrisuzz's lads. Livera and Hankey the two that made it to fifty for me, and their partnership of 81 was almost double that of my 2nd highest partnership. (Surprise surprise)

A simple enough 199 run win over Daz last night. The highlights being Leopard smashing out 62 not out from just 30 balls, and Lion picking up a hattrick :)

I'm just glad my affiliate isn't the worst side, still trying to work out the youth system - so even though it's a farm there aren't any guarantees the side will ever be comparatively good.

Ha, aside from having a tad under 22m to build a team with, I'm finding that training plans for youths are a lot different from what I've become accustomed to in seniors.

Was actually a little over 24m I think I spent. My training plans consist of getting fielding to capable, then primaries to 19 and reassess :)

Mine are a little less that CF's, Train to reasonable fielding and then primaries until 19. Once Accomplished/accomplished, train fielding to capable and so on.

And I forgot to set tactics as thought my match was at 5:30 FTP instead of 4:30. Took family out for lunch so came back in time to set orders only to see match has started and no default orders since half my XI from last season promoted. Should be over 80k at least next week. Sorry for the bad game though JB :(.

I am a Average/Reasonable Fielding side since I don't buy many players so have to make it work (and increase when they reach a certain point like Cap/Cap). You'll get use to it Alex, just need to sometimes work player by player depending on their current level of skills.

So it all comes down to this...

Billy Goats CC vs Norwood Redlegs next week to decide the champion of the FFYC! Winner of the match is the champ, or in the case of a tie then Norwood gets the title. It's a battle of the highest scoring team (Billy Goats) up against the side that has conceded the second least amount of runs (Norwood). Billy Goats on average has scored 271 runs a game, whereas Norwood has conceded just 173. With the match set on a sticky pitch this will most likely favour Norwood. For comparison last rounds ratings were 126k for Billy Goats and 121k for Norwood.

So who will win and become champ? Predictions by everyone would be great :D


Also a battle going on down the other end of the table with DazBurg's Greatness coming up against Spinkings to decide the wooden spoon. Excitement all over the place! :)
