Mumford to Nic Nat - Masterstroke or Stupid Idea?

Would love to know some thoughts on the trade I'm considering - Mumford to Nic Nat. With Currie on the chopping block this week, I'd cop a donut if I were to not trade Mumford. I'm not confident on Goldstein, Minson or Jacobs at the moment. I had Nic Nat all pre-season until the lack of match fitness coming into round one turned me off (thank god). But now he's sitting at $408,500, $110,300 less than he began with. I feel like he might be hitting his straps now, looked good on the weekend and tonned up. Simmo's decision to only play him and Cox helps too as Sinclair/Lycett weren't helping his scoring. With Nic Nat looking to get match fit now and only having to contend with Cox as the other ruck, do you feel this could be a masterstroke of a trade or a stupid idea? Plus I'd pocket $156,900, so it's almost a downgrade at the same time.

NicNat did very well last week when WCE did not play 3 talls.
The question is will they continue to do so?

I think the only reason they were playing 3 is because NicNat wasn't ready to spend large amounts of time in the ruck after his injury plagued pre season. Now that he is getting some fitness back they will go with the cox/nicnat combo every week I would think.

Stupid i think. Nicnat is too unproven.

That wasn't the sole reason. It was to do with match-ups and the fact Simmo was experimenting with some new tactics. Also the fact that our 3rd and 4th ruckmen are annihilating the wafl :P

Definitely worth a look though, personally I am going to give him up until his bye. Hickey -> NicNat will be tasty by then ;)

I've held mummy for the 2 weeks and heard he will be back next week,  the cash would be nice but really, mumford has scored more in 3 games than most others have in 5  :o

Not sold. If currie is dropped it might be a different story though

Majak confirmed starter this week - so consider him dropped

Considering Lobbe to Nic Nat this week! Lobbe not scoring anywhere near what I had anticipated!
