KB by your logic you shouldn't have any because they steal points off each other and on any given week the one or two that you have could have the points taken by the one or two you dont have.

i'd be much more inclined to look at it like they'll probably be divvying up 350-370 points per game between them, so much better off having them all to lock away the points.

2 players from the same team is the most premos anyone should have in the same line i think besides rookies

if Beams was 600k to begin with i doubt many would have started him and Pendles

obviously it's my opinion and not many are agreeing but i'm sticking to it

kb,

If they average in top echelon of mids, does it matter what team they're in (excluding bye rounds obviously)?

Say they average 120 each - that's 360 per week - one week 100 120 and 140 - then 140 120 100 - then 20 10 330 - then 1 1 and 358.

How does their team make a difference?

They are in a pretty strong team (unfortunately) so will win more than lose.

All proven SC favorites.

Getting Beams and Swan in at such low prices is a boon for those who jumped on Beams round 1 and Swan this week.

No need to have them all but I can see the benefit.

Other premiums bandied about like Watson, Cotchin, Libber, Barlow, Fyfe, Griffen, Deledio, JPK are no more likely to average higher just because they are in different teams.

1 1 and 358.

I hope it's Pendles who scores the 358... (I haven't acquired the tattooed maestro yet)

Doc it's not about averages I see the problem it's each players ceiling all 3 will never get 150 one week I know it averages out but I still wouldn't be happy there is next to no chance of all 3 going big the same week

Vinny

That's irrelevant though KB. If they are Top 5 midfielders overall they will accumulate more points than other midfielders.

Doesn't matter when they go big, they all still go big at some point and add up to more points than other midfielders.

How's it irrelevant ? Your in the GF you want your mid premos to go big but you know it's unlikely all 3 of these ones will

Vinny

Well for overall it's completely irrelevant but since you are talking league even then it's not a huge problem.

One goes big say 140. The other two generally still go 105+

If they are top midfielders I'd be getting them in regardless of how often they go big, and big meaning huge.

It hasn't been a problem in the past so I don't see why now.

Right KB,

I see where you're coming from

So it's round 23 - Pies face the might of Hawthorn and rest Swan. Pendles and Beams play.

Geelong rest SJ, Brisbane have sent Rocky for surgery and with Richmond sure of ninth Cotchin is out.

I reckon the chances of more than one top Pie being rested is less than Lyon, Dimma, Scott etc easing up on their stars.

Maybe - maybe not.

Geelong most likely to be able to rest vs Lions at SS.
Freo vs Port in the west - home final stitched up?
Swans v Richmond? In Sydney.
Hawks v Pies in a blockbuster that Pies need to win to make finals?

kilbluff1985

Why bring resting into it Doc?  :o

At least you actually see where I'm coming from now
