Ruck options are very slim this year with no decent rookie options available.

Is anyone considering David Hale as a F5 with Thurlow R3?

I started the season with Derickx and King as R3 and R4 and I was thinking at some stage to downgrade Derickx for Thurlow and pick up Hale as a fwd.

This will then complete my rucks as Sandi, Jacobs and if one is injured I can just swing Hale from the fwds into the ruck and place Thurlow at F8.

Would downgrading Derickx be a waste of a trade?
