I'd look to trade Ellis and Langdon.
I'd do either Ellis to Robertson and Langdon to a premium defender or
Langdon to Cutler and Ellis to a premium mid.

Def need a double trade. X to Robbo and one of Tyson/Dunstan to a premo? reckon you could get a score with Langdon close to a guy you bring in..

Tyson > Llyod via Taylor to mids.
Then Langdon > Simpson
you'll have about 16K left over.

I feel higgins to riewoldt
& Tyson to swan/ griffen could be viable options as well.

I think riewoldt can be a massive pod because the majority of the teams above me don't have him.

I agree with you mate. Most defenders are hit and miss, even the premiums.

Getting in Riewoldt now would be a good move IMO. He's in amazing form at the moment.

Defenders are junk. Only 6 in top 50 and that includes Hooker and you wouldn't go there even if you had a leave pass from the missus.

Swallow is the only one averaging over 110.

20 mids over 110.

Only NRoo and Danger over 110 - need NRoo at this stage I reckon. 'Versing' (as you young folk like to say) Lions, Cheney  ::) then Carlton next.

I can either go Tyson via Taylor to Llyod & Ellis to Robertson
which leaves me with 420k which nxt week will allow me to get riewoldt and swan/griffen
or I can go higgins to roo man or tyson to swan/griffen this week

Your defence looks to be a major worry with the byes coming up, you currently have 3 players available for round 8 and a dud missile in Clurey hanging around. Bring in Cutler, it may be one of the last times you get a decent sideways trade on a rookie defender.

It's also time to cut and run with Ellis, build up the bank this week and go hard next week with some upgrades. It will serve you better in the long run to bring in two round 10 bye players and to free some cash up. There will be plenty of bargains to be had next week.

You need to get rid of rd8 rookies or non playing players ASAP or your ranking will tank during the byes

I wouldn't overly stress about Thurlow & Holmes, most will also have a non playing rookie in that position. I think Currie is gone next week too, Daw is odds on to come into the side.

If so, Langdon, McDonald and maybe Crouch could go - depending upon new rookies coming through.

Cutler this week instead of Lloyd?

Ellis and Tyson out , McDonald to mid and Cutler, Taylor to mid and NRoo?
