what do i do upgrade tyson to swan or downgrade tyson to crouch and then after crouch's bye upgrade him to swan, but the only thing holding me back is swan's b/e

blues123

anyone please help i will appreciate your advice

MC

I will be double downgrading this week, bringing in crouch and one other, probably lloyd. Will leave me 400-450k for potential upgrades next week or during the byes.

I think a lot of people will be bringing in 2 of Robertson, Lloyd, Cutler, Gray this week. And Crouch for those who didn't get him last week. Need to bring in the good rookies while they're there, and now we can build up our war chests a bit and use it for upgrading after the round 8 bye.

I would get Swan if your match ups are hard or you are going for overall.

Thanks for saying please.  ;)

but look at swan's b/e that is what is stopping me from me bringing crouch in, really nor sure what to do

Double downgrade this week. Then double upgrade

AaronKirk

I reckon i can survive another week without downgrading in my defense- still have a wee bit of cash to make.

Ellis has to go so I have downgraded him to Robertson.

Looking at upgrading Tyson to Swan/M.Murph or McVeigh.  Leaning towards Murph because of the round 9 bye and only 496k.

Will be watching Swan to see how he goes this week. If he tears us a new one I look to bring him in during round 9.

I can assure you that Swan will rise less than the rookies will

Are you doing a second trade?
I am bringing in Swan. He's an incredible bargain. Bye isn't great but seeing him in my team makes me happy.
I downgraded Ellis to Crouch last week, thankfully.

This is the truth...but if you have a tough match up this week and are struggling in league, then you need points.

Grab the cash if you can afford to - Swan (and other fallen premiums) will be easier than really good cash cows throughout the year.

Good thread.
Myself everyone is talking about the downgrades this week but im sick of Taylor and Langdons 50 points everyweek and instead of downgrading them to more rookies scoring the same, i upgraded 2 players.
At the moment:  Langdon > Jaensch and Tyson > Pav via taylor.
Impy taylor and JKH have more cash to make so happy to miss lloyd and co this week.

Yeah Jaensch is having a great season and I can see why you want to jump on board, but I'm going to wait for Hanley, due back soon and after one match he should be right to jump on and will end up being around the same price as Jaensch.

Double downgrade for me, having two Brissie boys is just too good to pass up given their round 10 bye, the timing is perfect considering I was down to 17 round 8 players. They both should be ripe for the picking in round 10 as well, hopefully having made 200k or thereabouts.

Next week it will be the Griffinator.
