Just looking at my options for trades this week. This week seems to be the point where I am most spoiled for choice and having trouble deciding. Theres young guys like Robertson, Lloyd, Cutler and Crouch who I missed on last week. Then looking at guys like Griffen, Parker, McVeigh, Jaensch to bring in.

Side is currently.

D - Swallow, Hibberd, Mitchell, H . Shaw,  McDonald,  Langdon (Langford, Georgiou)
M - Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, Watson, Polec, Dunstan, Tyson, Ellis (Lemmens, Buckley)
R - Sandilands, Jacobs (Currie, Derickx)
F - Dangerfield, Martin, Roughead, Cloke, Higgins, Fasolo (Impey, JKH)

26 trades - 57k in bank.

Current thoughts are Ellis to Robertson,  giving me cash to do any of the following

Higgins to Parker/Bruest/Gray/Zorko (any fwd but N.Roo)

Langdon to Jaensch (can he maintain his scoring?)

McDonald to Enright/mcveigh/hanley/simpson (any def other than bartel)

Tyson to Cotchin/Griffen/Swan

OR, having missed out on Crouch I go Ellis to Crouch, and either Higgins to Bruest/gray/zorko, but cant afford Parker who is my first choice, or mcdonald to jaensch down back.

OR double downgrade

Ellis/Langdon ro Robertson/crouch and cutler + 270-340k
Ellis/impey to Crouch/robertson and lloyd +200-270k

Thoughts?

GoLions

Lock in Ellis-->Robbo

Then my preferences for your 2nd trade would be:
Langdon-->Cutler (if Hanley plays and Cutler is still named)
Tyson-->Griffen
Higgins-->Parker

Wouldn't trade Langdon to Jaensch at this point, and Lmac I'd keep a bit longer. Plus, Hanley is set to drop in price a bit after getting injured, so could save over 50k on Lmac-->Hanley if you wait 2 weeks :)

The Pelican

Defenders: Mitchell, Hanley, Swallow, Suckling, Simpson, McDonald (Langford, Laidler)
Midfielders: Ablett, Pendles, Beams, Murphy, Tyson, Polec, Dunstan, Aish (Ellis, Crouch)
Rucks: Sandilands, Minson (Currie, King)
Forwards: Dangerfield, Martin, Bruest, Mitchell, Higgins, Impey (Kennedy-Harris, Taylor)

$46,700

23 trades left

Not sure what to do. Probably TMitch out.

If Ellis doesn't play, I wouldn't bother with him this week (his price will only drop if he plays).

I would trade Tyson, he has a BE of 98 and one would feel he is unlikely to get to that.

You could save yourself about $7,000 in doing Tyson to Robertson this week and trade Ellis the following week

dmac,

Impey to Lloyd?

Reasons for

Generate $60,000 straight up.
2 round predicted rises of $150,000 vs $30,000

So a total gain of $180,000

Plus you'd think Lloyd gets more points as well if needed.

However, Lloyd has a round 8 bye which is a worry for some teams

AND the price rises are based on Lloyd scoring 94 and Impey only 47.

I think it's worth a look.

Having had a look at high break evens of Tyson and Ellis, I am thinking of double downgrading. Also, Higgins has a b/e of 39, and parker 115, so can save some cash there.

Thinking Tyson/Ellis to Robrrtson/Crouch, leaving me with 360k. Then next week..

Higgins to Parker and either Dunstan to Griffen, or Lmac/Langdon to McVeigh or Enright as a double upgrade.

Thoughts?

My #1 option too

I'm thinking Tyson to M.Crouch and Impey to Lloyd, but that means I miss the Roberston boat Thoughts?

Defenders: Swallow, Mitchell, Mcveigh, Suclking, L.McDonald, Langdon (Langford, Georgiou)

Midfields: Ablett, Pendelbury, Watson, Rockcliff, Beams, Polec, Dunston, Tyson (Ellis, Buckley)

Rucks: Sandliands, Mumford (Currie, King)

Forwards: Dangerfield, Martin, Mitchell, Higgins, Fasolo, Taylor (Impey, Kennedy Harris)

Tyson/Dunstan to Crouch/Robertson

Ellis to Lloyd via Taylor, opening up DPP in the mids, and fielding Llyod over Taylor which should be more points each week

vtaced

Awesome, thanks RaisyDaisy. Who's the better option? Matt Crouch or Robertson? Crouch has already increased but i believe has better scoring opportunity

RaisyDaisy

Tough call mate

If you go with what I suggested, you will have a mid bench of Taylor and Buckley, but with 5 prem mids already plus Polec I reckon the last two mids of 1 of Tyson or Dunstan plus Crouch would get most points, but Robertson saves you money and I reckon he should be fine for M8 over the next few weeks (I will have him at M8 personally, but I already have Crouch at M7 but I only have 4 prem mids currently)
