Yeah I agree with what you're saying, Nroo is clearly the #1 man up forward but getting him will mean I can't afford anyone worth getting in the mids the following week. Someone like Gray + Watson on each line is far better than Nroo and a rookie is it not?

Maybe you cant get NRoo and a mid prem next week, but you can NRoo this week and the prem mid the following week

Obviously your team and your call, but I would rather wait and get the best, instead of trying to get "mid premo's" earlier

Watson is one of the best though? Apart from SJ and Selwood he is the bloke I want the most. Had a down week but we know he is a super premo

RaisyDaisy

Pretty sure Watson is 550k currently, and expected to drop to 530k next week. In the next week or two he is still cheap as chips

Yeah he is currently $551,300 with a BE of 158
If he gets his projected score of 111 he will drop to $530,700 with a BE of 136 against the dogs which really could go either way.
Could definitely wait the extra week but my mid rookies would be dropping money as much as he is so seems logical to just get him in.

I dunno.. I'm getting a headache lol

Gunston seems to be the best option for a round 9 bye player.

Only thing putting me off Gunston is that he is another key forward and I already have Pav and Buddy in the fwd line.
I guess the same could be said of Nroo but he is as consistent as a mid anyway

N Roo is far too expensive right now to consider bringing in. You would just be chasing points. He has scored well so far because the Saints have had an easy draw (haven't played a single team that played finals last year). His scores will start to drop when the Saints play genuine finals contenders and his price will drop as well.

I would save the 100k and bring in Gunston. He plays for one of the top 2 teams in the comp so will see plenty of the ball week in week out, he takes marks, he kicks straight and he isn't a stay at home forward so is able to get possesions on a wing and in defence.

I reckon both N Roo and Gusnton will average around the 100 mark by the end of the year.

Nroo has risen a paltry $2,900 this year.

Hardly over priced.

He is just right.

BE only 111 and playing the leaky Lions' loose lastline of defence.

Pts against

Lions  -   611
Blues -  528
WB  -  517
Crows  -  502
GWS  -  456

Surely he'll kick a bag this week.

Riewoldt is a gun against any opposition. He averaged 111 against top 8 teams last year.

I still think you will be able to pick him up cheaper at some stage, his record against Brisbane isn't that flash either with recent scores of 71, 92 & 86. His 7 match average is 98.

Im tipping he is going to tear Brissie a new one but thats irrelevant, I would pick him for the season not 1 game.

No doubt would be able to get him in cheaper at some stage but that could be weeks away. Why not get him now why I have the chance
