yep well said Rico.

and apparently that deserves the same punishment as a little love tap to the guts  :o
and less than an accidental head clash

Seriously don't understand how Fyfe gets 2 weeks... Then Merrett gets 2 for what he did, then Glassy gets offered 1 for putting Wingard in hospital...

Wow that doesnt look like body contact to me, very lucky Dazza, buy a lottery ticket and take the week off

Please tabs...... Did you actually look at the picture? All it is is Glasses hip making contact with Wingards side!

The week is fair. Shouldnt of done it, But its not like the guy has sprinted in to make head high contact whilst he is picking up the ball..
lol come on mate. Even as a WCE supporter you have to know that is worth more than 1

Watching in live pace. Glass attack contest with eyes on ball. At last minute he turns to protect himself when he realizes he cant make it to the ball.

Pretty hard to stop at those kind of speeds Rico. He didnt make head contact either.
Why would you jump in the air then??

Originally interntion to make contest and spoil once lept off ground. But realizes after leaping that can get there so turns to protect himself from opened up ribs/chest. Takes out scrawny little dude in process.

Disagree man. He took his eye off the ball and made a decision to clean up wingard rather than spoil. It wasn't a reaction as a protection measure either. He also leaves the ground which is a big no-no. It looks as though he does make contact with the head as well.

Have broken down below.

Eyes on the ball

Focus changes to Wingard

Leaves ground. Front on contact with upper body, possibly the head

I think youll find that the slide you state that he changes his vision from the ball to Wingard, is actually the ball coming down hence why hes head is coming down as he follow the balls path.

Put it this way.. If he made contact with the head.. Wingard wouldnt be breathing right now.... Was all body. Whilst the ball was in contest. Was a free kick and a week suspension at most..

You put a bloke in hospital and only get one week, you have to thank god for that one

i think the big issue here is the lack of consistency from the MRP.

The next frame still looks bad mate. Clearly looking and Wingard and the ball isn't even in frame

Must be pretty close but man, Wingards hand is out to take the ball. Look forward and you can still look up to decent amont with your eyes. Still on the ball at this stage!
