The medical report provided by Port Adelaide was very favourable for Glass and West Coast. It inferred that the contact was made to the body rather than Wingard's head and that the force was not deemed excessive.

Watch Glass coming toward Wingard, his eyes are at the body and not the ball coming in over his head. He should have got more

and as for Douglas, he deliberately chose to bump Ward, collected him high and concussed him, and had no further part in the

game. He should have shepherded him and as he chose to bump, has to go
Why should glass have got more?

He bumped someone who was trying to contest a marking contest, didn't collect them high, when the ball was within 5 metres.

Should have been play-on, not a 2 week penalty!

As to Douglas, yea, high impact, high contact, will definitely get games, and should get 1 or 2.

Have you seriously watched the replay, he did look up at the ball initially, but then looked to clean the opposition up the last second. Play on, get a grip

He chose to bump Wingard, and injured Wingard.

Yea, so who gives a shower? As long as they don't make head-high contact or strike, I'm more than happy for people to be bumped hard!!

FFS, really?

WTF? You can only hip and shoulder a player if you are watching the ball?

Have you ever watched a game of AFL in your life?

Why am I wasting time on this talking to you?

Mailman the 2nd

Because once you take your eyes off the ball you're directly attempting to hurt a player, which (should) leave you liable to a much higher penalty.

Glass was late, reckless, jumped in the air and sent a player to hospital, there's nothing more condemning than those facts and he should've got a minimum 3 week suspension.

yorgis

Glass was playing the man not the ball. He did'nt try to get the ball OR spoil. He only had eyes for Chad. You're dreamin'

if you think otherwise, it's clear as day. He should thank his lucky stars that port did'nt whinge, and gave him a favorable medical

report, otherwise he would have got more. Read the rules . Play the man NOT the ball

yorgis

hit the send button b4 i finished. add to, Play the man not the ball, is in the 80's -90's coaches manual.  lol !!!
