Next best forward after Riewoldt?

Hey lads!

I've decided to focus on completing my forward line over the next fortnight.

Merrett and Higgins are about ready to cull, and I'm happy fork out the cash this week and grab Nick Riewoldt (for Merrett).

However, I'm not sure on who to grab the following week for Higgins. This is my current forward line:

Dangerfield Martin Pavlich Franklin Merrett Higgins (Lloyd Ambrose)

My thoughts are to pick up Zorko, as his price is still pretty cheap and has the potential to go big.

I've already got a few key forwards who can be inconsistent so perhaps not Roughead, Chappy will miss too many games, Parker I'm not overly keen on, and I'm too much of a wuss to pick Breust or Gray after a few good games.

Help!

Gray, Rioli, Parker, Roughy, Pav, Breust, Zorko are all good options. Take a pick.

Wanderer

I started with Zorko and Dalhaus as my mid-pricers in fwd line hoping they will get increased time playing on the ball. They are quickly cementing themselves as keepers now.

I am very glad I was able to bring in NRoo this week

I think you should look at getting rid of one of Merrett or Higgins to NRoo, and then keeping the other one until their bye. This also gives you a few more weeks to see and decide on who you want to upgrade and get as your final fwd

Wanderer

NRoo looks like he is in career best form and the game style is really suiting him now, so is a HUGE lock!!! Now just have to generate cash to get him in.

Keeper27

got Danger/Zorko.
Looking to add Nroo, Breust, Parker and Gray.

JBs-Hawks

Will get zorko in for higgins or merrett after his bye and then Nroo in for the other after his bye.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Might wait on the Higgins trade and see how Zorko goes over the next few weeks. Roughead actually would suit my byes perfectly, but not overly convinced yet (a good performance today could change that).

Merrett to Riewoldt is locked for me, but see how we go with the second trade!

Bully

Fasolo!  ;D

In all seriousness, he looks like he might do a Andrew Walker and become that forward who reaps all the benefits of being a rebounding defender. He won't average 105, but should be good 80-95.

My top 6 are -

Riewoldt
Danger
Martin
Pavlich
Parker
Zorko/Roughead/Dahlhaus

Some sneaky picks however may be Cloke & Petrie, these guys are trading stocks but when their tail is up expect them to hit 550k.

tbh I like Parker mate, but I would hang onto Higgins until his bye.

Interesting point on Fasolo Bully!

It will definitely come down to whether he stays in that role. I remember last year we were worried Andrew Walker would move back forward and never did, but with Seedsman and potentially Williams to come back into defence Fasolo may not stay there.

You could add Buddy to your Petrie and Cloke list, I think he will find some form now that he's settled into the team.

I'm really thinking Zorko is the man though. Gives me 3 key forwards and 3 small guys, which is a nice balance!

With Rich out for the season I think Zorko is every chance at being a top 6 forward. Would have Roughy over Pav easily though

I disagree if fassolo is playing well and driving the chain off half back Buckley won't change it.  He placed him there for a reason and his last 2 games have been superb!

JBs-Hawks

Seedsman will slot on the wing and if williams made it back would take langdons spot as a lockdown small defender.
