Thought Titch would get a game as he needs the game time, Towers unlucky to miss out.

IN
Nick Smith, Tom Mitchell, Rhyce Shaw
OUT
Craig Bird (Knee), Dean Towers (Omitted), Josh Kennedy (Hamstring)

stew42

True, Towers is unlucky, but I'd rather him out than Biggs, Skywalker or Cunners

Capper

Biggs or Titch for the vest though?

I could see Titch starting on ground and getting the red vest

stew42

Possibly, I'd hope he'd have the tank to run out a game. I think it'll just depend on form on the day. As he'll probably leave once Kennedy is back, there's no real need to manage him within the game.

Would have preferred 9-0 but i will take buddy's 5-4.

#BuddyForColeman
should have put money on it

Mailman the 2nd

Around round 4-5 you could've got a small fortune betting on Franklin for the Coleman.

Will likely be in the top 10 for the Coaches award too and a very slim outside chance for the Brownlow.

Pretty good year all up

Capper

Laidler with the green vest to me means that he may miss the finals or be an emergency

Smith, JPK, Bird to come back in

SydneyRox

Yeah, Laidlers days are numbered. Rooster has slotted in there nicely.

Smith played on the weekend. Do you mean Reid? With Mcglynn for the first final?

That would mean Laidler, Towers, Biggs, Mitchell, Lloyd the ones fighting not to be dropped.

For mine its Lloyd/Mitchell, but if we are talking green vest I prefer Lloyd, just got that extra leg speed.

kilbluff1985

McGlynn back this week?

Mailman the 2nd

Towers and Laidler are pretty much gone, they've done their role this year.

JPK, McGlynn, Reid and Bird means there's probably 2 more outs. Reckon Biggs is a bit unlucky but didn't have fantastic disposal efficiency so I'd take him out.

Leaves it more or less between Mitchell and Lloyd yeah. I like Mitchell more but I think we'll go with Lloyd because it'll almost definitely be the green vest anyway.

Little bit concerned about Rhyce Shaw's condition, is struggling to get back to where he was

SydneyRox

shaw will better for the run, but that is the bonus, plenty of options if he starts to struggle.

Capper

Hasnt Biggs been playing of HB? I think he may push Shaw out next year

What a good delema to have though. JPK, McGlynn, Reid and Bird to come back in to that team.

I think Lamb is dreading going to GWS now

I kinda hope Biggs does push him out. If you have two guys fighting for the one spot and their skill levels are the same, surely you'd go for the younger guy? Kinda why O'Keefe hasn't been playing.

Capper

Not a bad top 25 team to have at the moment

B - Dane Rampe, Ted Richards, Nick Smith
HB - Jarrad McVeigh, Heath Grundy, Rhyce Shaw
C - Nick Malceski, Luke Parker, Lewis Jetta
HF - Adam Goodes, Lance Franklin, Shane Biggs
F - Ben McGlynn, Kurt Tippett, Harry Cunningham
FOL - Mike Pyke, Dan Hannebery, Kieren Jack
I/C - Tom Mitchell, Gary Rohan, Jake Lloyd, Craig Bird, Josh Kennedy, Sam Reid, Ben McGlynn

with Towers, Laidler, Jones, BJack, Membrey and co also pushing for selection
