I almost forgot that Biggs played out the entire finals series last year, definitely looks good for when Shaw retires

Surely must be time for you to get rid of that DP??  :o

I'm lazy :P I just did it for the fun of it when they beat Port

Oh okay. The rumour I saw was that Malceski wasn't getting the number of years he wanted, and Demonland pretty much went crazy with it so I just wanted to make sure that it was still Demonland just being Demonland.

You might have a shot after all. I have a sneaking suspicion that his manager might be suggesting home sickness , but its hard to tell.

Hopefully a flag gets him to stay  :'(

cant see him leaving. might be just smart. if all of rok, lrt, goodes and maybe shaw retire there will be more coin to go round so why not. but right now nothing is certain as far as staying or going

Its weird that I saw all these guns listed together as possible retirements and thought... wow Sydney will cop a hit next year... or... at least TMitch should get a regular gig next year, can't see him leaving Sydney...

But then I realised hardly any of them are in the 22 at the moment lol. Malthouse was right when he spoke about Sydney's depth

SydneyRox

Goodes and Shaw are still best 22 and I think there is a place for ROK come finals but Reid has really taken away that cover all role that LRT played so well for the last few years.

If I had to say, only ROK and LRT are most likely to retire, Goodes might if we win a flag, and I would think Shaw would almost certainly play on.

Ricochet

Yeh that sounds about right.

Walsh will maybe go home as he hasnt re-signed

I get the feeling that Horse likes to give em a couple if he can. So reckon Biggs has to wait or either Jack/Lloyd miss out.

Gut says only Tippett in this week. Hanners and Shaw Next week

QuoteThe Swans will be hoping to welcome back spearhead Kurt Tippett against the Hawks.

Tippett had an arthroscopy of his right knee after round 12 for a meniscus tear and, apart from a one-off return in round 15, has been sidelined since.

A meniscus tear affects the cushioning and shock absorption in the knee and, as an unwelcome complication of that, Tippet has now developed bone bruising in his knee.

So what the club expected to be a two-week interruption has now strung out to seven weeks.

Tippett is most likely going to have to manage his knee for the rest of his career, much like St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt and other players do.
not good for the future but managable

Excellent news. How confident are you gents for the weekend? I feel like Hawthorn have more of a point to prove than we do.

Capper

Definitely I think this game doesn't mean too much beyond the 13-0 streak, but we should be favorites
