Yup, pretty much as I thought with Mcglynn, Kennedy and Bird being rested another week.

Naismith in for his first game over Nank  :o

Sydney_Rox

yeah that is the real surprise!! wonder why/how he seemed to jump right over nank.

I really had hoped for JPK, for selfish reasons.... Fantasy (might cost me $2k) and Brownlow votes (only gonna cost me $20)

But best thing for the team

Capper

I had Naismith ahead of nank at the start of the but with Nank and Naismith both being emergencies this year i thought Nank would have been ahead of naismith.

But looking at the NEAFL, it looks like Naismith has been a pure ruck whilst Nank has spent some time up front.

Very surprised neither Nank or Naismith werent used last week with the Dogs not playing Minson.

Well done to Naismith a local Sydney boy maybe his debut

Interested to see how he pairs up solo against Maric. Big test but I'm excited for him

maybe Naismith is being used as he is more mobilie than Pyke against Maric.

Not that Horse is worried about the HOs.

But Naismith needs a nickname....hmmm.... maybe Toucan

I wanted to throw the television at Goodes and Towers, awful display by both of them. I can give Naismith a break for being a first gamer but the other 2 should have played better. 0 forward pressure acts by them and poor decision making.

Really let down Hannerbery, Mitchell and Parker. Those 3 were absolutely phenomenal

Hey, hey Sydney. Thanks for nothing :(

I went outside and threw my remote across the backyard when Goodes got dropped inside 50 :(

Capper

I didnt watch anything after the 1st quarter. Some bad umps decisions for both teams but Goodes looked like he was jogging the whole time and not going after the player at all.

Thank god i fell asleep

SydneyRox

I thought goodes actually played pretty well. couple of stupid things he did which have been highlighted, but he kept presenting, missed a few marks, but kept coming back. he tried to play the role buddy has been playing, but his body aint able to do that as well.

Capper

Has to stop trying to play for free kicks though as the umps will stop looking to give them to him

no doubt, this has been creeping into his game for a while now. He isnt the player he once was, being the focal point isnt his strong point.

Plus there are too many people ready to pot him from all angles.

IMO he retires if we win the GF

i think he retires if we make the GF. He hasnt signed on yet has he??

SydneyRox

dont think so, but the articles are all about him choosing to play on.

Capper

didnt think so but people have been saying that he signed on

I didn't mind Goodes attacking the ball, I just hated his lack of defensive pressure.

He and Towers just kept zoning off their players, refusing to tackle and trying to get cheap possesions. Guys like Rohan were putting on fantastic forward pressure but they just let down the team constantly
